Establishing People in God’s Word

Precept Ministries International was founded by Jack and Kay Arthur in 1970, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to establish teens in God’s word. That has grown to producing a variety of Bible studies, intensive Training Workshops, and holding conferences. All avenues of ministry are focused on how to study the bible inductively. Precept does not seek to establish doctrinal distinctives, but rather we seek to direct people to the Master Himself. Through the inductive study of His Word, God has enabled Precept to reach across denominational lines as we serve the local church. Kay and the ministry staff of writers produce a number of different Bible study series. The most well-known are Precept Upon Precept, In & Out, the New Inductive Study Series, the “Lord” study series, 40-Minute study series, and Discover 4 Yourself Inductive Bible Studies for Kids. These unique inductive studies have been developed from years of diligent study and teaching experience. Today, Precept Bible studies are used in nearly 185 countries and 70 languages, to help establish people in God’s Word.
